CHEQUE PRESENTATION
Clive
Knight and John Parkinson recently presented a cheque for £300 on behalf of
the Rotary Club of Arbury to the Nuneaton Children Contact Centre. The
cheque was received by Janet Tilson the Centre Co-ordinator with Mike Hanson
the Centre Assistant Co-ordinator looking on.
The
Nuneaton Children Contact Centre opened in 1987 and is staffed entirely by
volunteers. The Centre is open every Saturday morning and provides a meeting
place where children of separated families can enjoy contact with the parent
with whom they no longer live, in a comfortable and safe environment. It is
an independent meeting place where children are safe, where no-one takes
sides, and everything is completely confidential. The Centre provides a
warm welcome and a friendly atmosphere, with lots of toys and games for the
children and parents to play together. Anyone interested in becoming a
